    Don't count your chickens...

    Do it yourself.

People who say that they are in your corner
may not always be there. Just like Peter and
    Jesus.

I am fully responsible for my life. Blaming society, my parents, other people, racism, bankers, foreigners, bosses, the rich or anybody else is just emotional ************. I own my successes and failures. Take responsibility, it's yours anyway.

Don't take your life for granted, the only important things in life are the simple things and that you and your loved ones are in good health.

If you're a sucker and have faith in someone, you will be disappointed. If you're a loser and actually think someone has your back, you will soon find out not even your shadow is there. If you love and see the best in people, it will only bring out the worst in people, because society sees niceness as a weakness, and sometimes I can't help seeing it that way too. God says to love all, but that's mighty hard in this world to do that. Perhaps that is the biggest challenge of all.

    Nobody cares about me.

I don't mean that as grim as it sounds - of course I have loved ones. But the world in general - nobody cares how hard I've worked, how nice I am, what I have or have not been through, how smart I am, etc. They care about what *I* can offer *them*. This is true in trying to find a job, performing my jobs, forming friendships and dating, and generally getting along with others. We maintain contact with people who add something positive to our own lives, so even if I feel I *deserve* something, I have to prove I'm worthy of the things I want in life.

You are worthy of any thing you want...anything you desire! Yes, the world is weird and society values things differently than we do on a personal scale, but it doesn't make who we are any less worthy! Keep striving, learning, reaching for greatness.....you will get there with sheer determination! :)
