What is the biggest, most used movie cliche?
Of course there's this --Third person Shooter
The bad guy is just about to kill the good guy when a shot rings out… But the hero doesn’t fall (though the look on his face is priceless). Suddenly the camera swings to reveal a saviour – the third person shooter – who just shot the bad guy....

At the end of the movie, someone has a sudden epiphany about how they were wrong to let someone go (they misjudged that person or there was a misunderstanding or someone didn't say something that needed to be said, etc.)...and they have to run, run, run to catch that person.

Mine would be the airport... they always chase them to the airport and meet. Even in the WEEDS they used it *eye rolls* and that is a show.. anyhow you understand now this whole chasing in the airport isn't possible with security.. ;(

In an action movie, taking a bullet or knife slashes or 100 punches walks away with a band-aid.

When two people meet, they like accidentally crash into each other, and the boy picks up the girls bag/books… I've read/seen it lots of times.

I hate that. I also hate pretty much all unrealistically happy endings..that wrap everything up in a moronically neat and hurried fashion..

Were you watching MY tv last night? I watched the 7th season of Criminal Minds last night and that is just what happened. Bad guy is trying to kill Morgan and Morgan has his gun out and suddenly a shot rings out and when bad guy falls, there's Hotchner with is gun.

In horror movies, how the girl always trips and falls or when they think they've killed the guy, they turn their back to them only to get attacked again......!

Your desc
ription sounds like "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" With Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne. Personally, I think the most overused cliche is the old "one man against the world" bit. Rambo, Clint Eastwood, etc Like (2)
