What is the difference between his and mine?

Why is it ok for him to bring his neices home without my approval for ME to watch while he is at work but, when it comes to me wanting to bring any of my neices or nephews home for ME to watch, I have to get his approval first? And for the most part he has a problem with the majority of mine. What does it matter if I am the one watching them anyways?

sounds like he needs to be told, he needs permission.

I wouldn't see a problem in it if YOU are the one watching the kids. I would think he should have enough respect for you to ask you before he brought his nieces over for you to watch. Did you talk to him and tell him you would appreciate it if he asked you prior to bringing the kids over? Share with him how you feel about having to ask his permission to have your family over yet he just brings his without asking you.
Maybe you two should consider counseling if you are having problems communicating.

There is no difference between his and yours by what you have described. He has a double standard.

His nieces, his problem. If you think they're coming over without your knowledge, you go find yourself something better to do, out of the house. And when did you allow it to be okay for you to have to ask to have your nieces and nephews come over, when the favor is never returned? The best time to have stopped this controlling and inconsiderate behavior was when it first began: the best thing to do now is ignore it.
