Not sure of the exact difference but l like Seattle and don't care for Portland, just a personal preference.

That may be true, in terms of the cost of living, I'm sure Seattle is more expensive to live in. I wonder how the job market for both is.

Hah, you've got the troll bridge. I live in Eugene, but I've heard the economy for Oregon has been getting better and better over the last few years. I'm not sure how Washington has been doing though.
