What is the difference between 'shadow people' and 'spirits'?

Spirit is soul, Shadow People is like Ghost,
Spirit is pure and invisible but shadow people and ghost are visible if you own 6th sense !

I don't know the difference; but I surmise that 'Shadow People' are a lower-vibration subset of 'Spirits'. (As CherryDolly says - ghosts or equivalent). Spirits I take to mean "non-physical beings". Some of them, (like humans) have a physical part as well.

Shadow people, as I understand it, are dark, ghost-like entities that hang around your house, only in certain places. Apparently when you notice them it is something similar to reading a book and then seeing something from the corner of your eye. Skeptics and mainstream science have said that there are now shadow people hanging around. It’s all part of our very active imaginations and minds. Other paranormal enthusiast believe that shadow people were never human at all and are a demonic spirit that embodies pure evil. I understand that the human mind and eye can easily be fooled, but surely not in ALL the cases reported so far of people seeing Shadow People and living with them in their homes. They are called Shadow People because they resemble, for instance, your shadow when you stand close to a wall and the light shining from behind casts your shadow on the wall. Spirits are believed to be human souls that have not cross over properly after they died. Some spirits remain at or near the site of their death, especially if it was sudden and unexpected. They remain confused and don't know or accept that they have died. Their loved ones can also hold their spirit here on earth and by not letting go of them, they can be bound here by our love and unable or unwilling to go on until the we can come to terms with the loss.

The difference is that shadow people aren't real, and spirits don't exist.

Shadow people are there when you have been awake for more than 48 hours on uppers.
Spirits and Angels are around when you're sober.

Shadow people live on the outskirts of reality, and spirits are wandering souls among us

For me,Spirit is our very inner being. If we die, our spirit either goes to be with the Lord or to hell.(I believe in heaven and hell). Shadow people for me would be ghost...I call it demons or bad spirit.
