    That real life is hard.

Teaching them the proper tools for dealing with how hard life is, is the best thing a parent can do for their child.

I heard early on and often, "This is your life, it's up to you to determine what it will be." One of the truest statements I've ever heard. Ultimately, we are a product of the decisions we make in life.

Yoy see I don,t think there is just one most important lesson. There are so many and all are as equally important as the other. It's good for a child to be taught how to think about other people. Children have so much attention it's good to teach them to think about others. It's a good idea to say I wonder how Daddy or someone else is feeling today. Shall we make them a card, pick some flowers, perhaps go and see them, we can cheer them up. It brings out their sensitive side. To teach them not to be unkind to others. Teach them ho to love all animals and respect all living creatures. To appreciate the flowers and how to tend them. teach them the beauty of music, dance and the other arts. Give them a choice about food, or where to go or anything else you are doing as their input is important. For example would you like to go to the park or to a friends house. No more than two choices as confusion sets in and you could wait there all day for an answer. I could write a book but know that many have on the subject of children. Light and love to you

no matter how much or how often you can and will get hurt... there will be a time or many times when this world will be the most beautiful place you can imagine. And it will be that way because of how you were hurting. You will one day realize that this world is bigger and brighter and better than you have ever imagined and then in turn you will recognize that you are from this world and are so the same kind of beauty and brightness that you see all around you. One day you will see that this existence is but a brief moment in time that you have to make your mark and to make an impact in the universe. You are wonderful and you are perfect in some crazy kind of way. You have amazing thoughts and even greater ambitions and dreams. the capacity of your imagination is only limited by the thoughts that you harbor about yourself. You are better than you would ever imagine. Now take this and make your world a part of what you are. Spread how wonderful you are to the world around you so that one day your children can feel the wonder and beauty that you have given back to the world and then one day you can have this conversation with them. and so on and so on and so on...
