What is the most SERIOUS road Accident you have been involved with?

My driver was enjoying the rain!
Took a deep turn on 4th gear! the car lost control, his hands were of the wheel and all he did was turn around and say, what ever you do dont jump out of the car, we just waited for something to happen. It crashed and rolled over 3 times! we came out with a few scrathes. No one could believe we were in that car.Thank you God!

Thankfully I have NEVER been involved in any road accidents.

i don't know if this counts but i crashed a street legal dirt bike on a gravel road and lost most of the muscle and tissues on my elbow and knee. and cracked my helmet and had a severe concussion. i think i blamed in on my street tires and the fact that the city just laid new gravel. i didn't have any charges so i guess no one else thought it was my fault either.

rta smashed my leg to pieces , had to be held together with a nail down the length of my Tibia and screwed at the ankle, not very pleasant xx

Got broadsided by a drunk driver who ran light and then sped away.... a person driving behind us chased after him and called the police on his cell phone. The police found him a few blocks away hiding in someone's driveway behind some bushes.
I dislocated my shoulder! :(
but... that was about the worst of it.. except for the poor car!

Not my fault, because I wasn't driving. I was in my brother's car when another car ran a red light and hit us. My brother was cut by broken glass, someone got hurt in the other car. Nobody died.

A not very serious one. I was 14, and learning how to drive in my mother's SUV (on her insistence). I was making a right turn, and someone else was turning left onto the road I was turning off of. I turned too wide, and he turned too narrow. I scraped the side of his truck going maybe 5 miles an hour, denting the fender on my mother's SUV. Luckily, the person I hit was driving a beater Ford F100, and the hit didn't even damage the guy's truck.

When I was 16 my sister picked me up from work. We were at a stop light and she was fiddling with the radio. She saw green out of the corner of her eye and assumed it was a green light when it was an arrow. She started forward and hit the side of a full-size school bus turning at the arrow on the other side of the road. It happened right in the middle of the intersection and the car was under the bus up to the windshield.

I got into an accident 7 months ago; my back and my kneecap got injured; my back had inflammation and irritation so I had to rest for couple of weeks; my kneecap got bruised and the swelling is almost gone; doctor said it will take another couple of months for the swelling to go.

Was side swiped by a orry on a motorwa once! No not m faut, would definitely not choose to fight with that monster!

A guy ran a stop sign and cut the corner as he was turning left, resulting in his left headlight hitting our left headlight...so almost a head-on collision, but not quite. My sister's was driving and her head hit the edge of the sunroof area. She sustained a brain injury, which we did not realize until weeks later when she could not remember three numbers in a row to write down a phone number as someone dictated it. Years later, her personality is still very difficult and professional opinion is that this injury plays a major role in that.

A couple of years ago I had a guy come across the center line and hit me nearly head-on. We were both wearing seatbelts and both had airbags. He went to sleep behind the wheel. We both walked away.

Several years ago a guy came across the center line and I took to the ditch. He hit the car behind me head-on. That driver, who was drinking died instantly when he went through the windshield. His drinking buddy died in the ambulance. The older couple in the car that they hit also died before the ambulance arrived. This was in the early 70's and cars were big, nobody wore the seatbelts, and there were no airbags.

Where I went off the road had a shallow, wide ditch that had an upward sloping hill on the other side. After things calmed down a bit and the police talked with me, some lady that lived across the road from the accident simply said "God doesn't need you now, he'll take you when he is ready". That was nearly forty years ago and I can still hear the sound of that collision.

WHen I was a kid my mother was driving us back home.
the conditions were mild and winter has set in alittle.

My mother was driving all the sudden we hit black ice and we spun 4x's and hit a tree. the car wrapped around the tree and my mother was wedge between the steering wheel and my brother was stuck as well.

I remember my mother telling me to try to get out and get help. I was only 6yrs old at the time. However, I couldn't walk my leg was in so much pain I crawled all the way to the house at the end of the road.

I remember the fire department had to cut my mother out of the car and my brother head was bleeding real bad.

It wasn't my fault.

I was driving a school bus and a 16 year old boy who attended the school district I drove for was on his way home from school, speeding down a narrow country back road and came around a blind curve and hit me (the bus) head on.

I was 6 months pregnant at the time and had one student left on my bus.... A phone wire kept the bus from rolling over and we were both shook up, but Okay. He died on site.
