I lost a total of 70lbs and I did this in 5 months, healthy eating and exercise.
depends on how close u are to your ideal wt now if your quite lean now you may be able to shave off ten lbs in two months
i was a prof ballet dancer back in the day and in the offl season would gain ten lbs
i lost it by eating only protien ba<x>sed foods and working out eight hours a day (class rehersals and two hours in gym) but that was my job and wholly unhealthy
Just dont obsess over it train very hard and intensely diet smart and the wt will come off before u know it
72 lbs in a year and a half. But I was so fat that when I lost all that weight, no one noticed, not even my doctor (who'd told me to lose weight!). I wound up re-gaining about half of it while in the midst of some serious job stress. Now I'm struggling with it again.
about 50 lbs.
I lose about ten pounds every cross country season which lasts three months. I gain some of it back during the off season usually because I don't ever really watch what I eat, on or off season. We run 5-6 days a week with sometimes one or two days being 5k races. So we run hard enough that I don't have to watch what I eat and I lose weight. :) Good Luck!
If you're interested in coming up with a running schedule, I suggest going to the Runner's World website---it'll come up with a schedule for you. If you don't really run, start out by shooting for a ten to twelve minute mile. :)
You shouldn't lose more than two pounds per week. I have lost 40 pounds without exercising, I just eat less.
