The strangest thing I have seen lately (perhaps ever!) is my dog's dressing on his ear when I collected him from the vet. The assistant walked down to the kennel area to collect my dog, Busta Rhymes (Busta for short), whom I had taken in for a dressing change. His right ear had been ripped open by a dog (yes, my other dog) and this had developed a nasty infection which required hospitalization. He had wounds on his side and back, which were healing nicely, although his hair had been haphazardly shaved to prevent infection. Busta came home for the weekend, but was back at the vet early this morning for the follow-up.
After a few minutes, the door to the kennel area swung open and there's my dog with a giant white cone & horn contraption, securely strapped to and wrapped around his injured ear. Well, when all of us waiting at reception saw this, we had to laugh! It looked so comical! Busta has this 'thing' that he does, when walking towards you: he does this two-step thinga-ma-jig, almost like a horse dancing in those dressage performances, complete with the bow at the end. Hilarity abounded as we watched this dog, shaved patches everywhere, dancing a two-step jig down the passage with this strange, giant white cone dressing sticking up stiffly at an odd angle into the air! As usual, Busta loved the attention.

Driving yesterday and passed just a normal sized pick up truck with a sail boat in the bed, waaaaaaay to big to be in the bed of the truck and they had tied it in with tie downs and rope. My husband and I both did a double take. It was crazy.
