laughing really hard or taking a mouth full of water, bend over and slowly swallow it in your mouth. SLOWLY. then stand straight and if it doesnt work....do it again or walk into a wall.

Psychology. next time someone has the hiccups, tell them you can cure them. Look them in the eye and say "hiccup." then a litlle louder and more forcefully say " hiccup !", then more forcefully again say " I told you to HICCUP !" " I thought you had the hiccups ? HICCUP !" ( don't laugh, it ruins the effect )

I guarantee their hiccups will stop and they will look at you in awe.

TRY to hiccup. Make yourself hiccup. If you hiccup, try to make the next one louder. ....Come on, you can do it louder than that!

No cure and in most cases it resolves itself. A hiccup is a spasm of your diaphragm caused when the nerves have been irritated there are many causes. Holding your breath, drinking ice cold water or a fright/shock alters your breathing pattern allowing to correct itself, if you're after a quick fix.
