Working in the kitchen of a large hospital, I worked as part of a team dolloping food onto plates moving fast along a conveyor belt. Obviously, doing everything quickly meant that the food reaching the patients would be both on time and hot. One potentially dangerous side effect of all this speed was that a high percentage of the food seemed to end up on the floor, making it very slippery. Cleaning it up took forever and was even worse than the dolloping!

I used to work at a golf course. I was the guy you always aim your shots at on the driving range as he frantically tries to pick up the balls sprayed all around the range. The issue, however, was the cart I drove did not have a protective cage surrounding it, it had a bloody net. You guessed it, that means as you aimed at me, they would actually hit me, sometimes in the face. I have many scars from those days, lol.

It's hard to beat the chicken-choker but the worst job I ever had was working in a plastic molding factory. I spent 8 hours a day stacking plastic wheels into boxes. I wanted to kill myself.

Bob Evans grill operator. By the way, EVERYTHING is frozen! The fried potatoes are frozen and they just open them and throw them on the grill. The sausage is not really grilled either; they microwave it and roll it on the grill to make it look grilled the same as they do to the hotdogs! That place is the biggest rip off of any restaurant you could ever eat at, trust me on that one!

Wow..There are some really shtty jobs on here...lol! I've had a few ****** jobs. The worst was working for the garbage dump. I worked in the recycling dept and I had to sort through garbage all day long. We didn't have protective gloves or masks either. No heat, no air. It was a tin building and we stood on a platform 10 feet above the concrete floor. It was hotter than a mf in that place and in the winter we built fires. Anway. We had to go through everything from dirty needles to wooden pallets and sort: white paper, brown paper, plastic, and glass. It sucked.<br />
<br />
The second worse job I had was when I had to do community service. I had to work in the projects and I had to listen to this Jehovah witness preach at me all day while I sorted through endless amounts of paperwork for no money. Did the crime, and the time was far worse than the crime. trustme...'<br />
<br />
Third worst job? Cleaning hotel rooms. You should be there after prom night. The guys would get drunk and blow up used rubbers and tie them up in a balloon. They would leave tons of beer bottles everywhere, and puke everywhere...It was awful!!<br />
<br />
Fourth worst job: McDonalds. I just got pissed the fck off when they wouldn't let me go home one night. They locked me in the joint. So I picked up a chair and threatened to destroy the place. I collected my pink slip and didn't eat there again for about 12 years.

I worked in a machine shop. It wasn't the work that made it the worst, it was my boss. He was a chauvanistic pig. He got off on making women feel inadequate. He was a small, mean man.

Have had a wide array of really crappy jobs.<br />
<br />
A "worst" job can be weighed from many points.<br />
<br />
Smells (chicken plants, shrimper, etc )<br />
<br />
Sounds (engine rooms, etc.)<br />
<br />
bad inner actions with others (cab driver, bouncer, bill collector, etc.)<br />
<br />
pay (minimum wage, tips, etc.) we've all had this one :-)<br />
<br />
danger (heavy construction,oil field, Cable bill collector, etc)<br />
<br />
speaking from most of these aspects....I'm gonna have to go with................ CAB DRIVER <br />
<br />
<br />
we have a loser!!! :-)<br />
<br />
Sad part of this diatribe is I ahve had almost each one of the noted "worst" jobs :-) LOL well if we can't laugh we'd all go insane.<br />
<br />
Hey nurse in a mental institution...thats gotta be a sucky one :-) but never been mine.<br />
<br />

I was the babysitter for the 12 children of an eternally young prostitute.<br />
She came home once a week in a shiny new car and with a different man. She brought groceries and made grilled bologna and cheeze sandwiches for her kids and then she would give all the children a bath and make braids in their hair.<br />
Then she would leave for another week.<br />
I was very young myself when I had this job.<br />
I learned a lot about children, and decided I never wanted to be a *****.<br />
Looking back, maybe it was not a bad job afterall....
