I've only had one job I didn't like. I don't know if this was just local but we had a chain drive-thru called Central Park. It's one of those tiny buildings just big enough for a few grills and fry stations. There is NOT enough room to work safely. I burned my arm three times in the four hours I did nothing but load fries, take them out and season them. You'd think it would be simple and an easy job. No. It was a nightmare that ended as soon as those four hours were up. I never even went back for my piddly check. I've worked fast food many times but this was just awful compared.

Though at times I saw some bad in some jobs I always found a way to enjoy whatever I was doing. If the job was boring, it gave me time to think and contemplate or gave me time to talk with people and learn about them and from them.
But I guess I'm a different sort...Like (2)

I'm the same way. I'll try anything too. I loved working in an office, but when I got laid off I found work as a TA in special ed classes in my school district. When they phased out my job I found myself forced into construction. Best job I ever had. I've always found a way to love any job. . . except for that four hours at Central Park. ;)

At the time, I hated being a policeman to my children. I didnt get paid, I was on duty 24/7 and all I got was grief. Looking back now, I guess that it was the best job of my life!
