Resolved Question

What is wrong with my goldfish?

It's 8 years old now. Has always been a healthy fish but has taken to lying upside down on the bottom of the tank as if it is weighted down. I'm worried because it rarely swims and can't stay up for long or control itself when it tries, so it also finds it hard to feed. Please help, I don't like to see it suffer.

It has swim Bladder disease or flip over disease, It can be caused by getting too much air when eating or also bacteria. Dont feed it anymore flakes or pellets for now, give it shrimp( freeze dried ) or fresh peas.
My fish had the same thing, I hated to see it suffer, In the end it died. google it ( swim baldder in gold fish)
