What is your best random act of kindness story? Was it done by or for you?

i ws dating this girl 2 years ago and it was around christmas time. i picked her up and we were driving back to my house in cleveland. there was this guy on the side of the road so i stopped and he asked for a few dollars, he needed to get back to P.A. i gave him 2 bones. he kept going on with his story by telling us his kids were in the broke down van across the street. she gave in and gave some random guy, who looked like a crackhead none the less, 45 bones and said merry christmas. she was such a beautiful woman.

Unfortunately I am ashamed to say I was not the one to do this random act of kindness. How ever what I saw really did inspire me.

I was at Taco Bell one day and only one guy was working the entire store. He was running around mad trying to take care of the drive threw, front counter, and make the food. It was a very big line too being lunch time.

All of a sudden glass shatters on the front door! Not sure why but it happened. The poor guy working looked at it and I thought he was going to cry. All of a sudden a lady steps out of line and ask him for a broom and she cleans up the broken glass for him. She was a big hero in my book.

Mainly they've been small things. Helping some girls change their flat. Pushing their vehicle out of the snow. Buying people food at restaurants. Giving people money for fuel. Dropping gifts off at their house and running.

When I was in 4th grade, I really needed new glasses and my mother couldn't afford to buy them for me. My father had just passed away and we were really suffering financially. My teacher asked the class to write an essay on something we really wanted, so I wrote an essay on how I wanted new glasses. An anonymous person (to this day I have no clue who it was) donated the entire cost of new glasses to me so my mother could take me to get new ones. I wish I knew who it was so I could say thank you.

I don't gloat about doing good for others.

Hadn't even gotten to the front entrance of the building where my doctor's office is and I see an older gentlemen and what seemed to be his wife in a wheelchair. He had just placed her into her wheelchair and was about to move forward towards the front entrance when the wheels would no longer move for her. I saw that they might need some help and asked if I could look at the chair to see if I could get them on their way. I tried everything I could to no avail. The husband and I decided we would just have to push her without the motor working that makes the wheels work. It wasn't easy. It was a struggle for the both of us but she got to her doctors appointment and they were so happy that I helped.
