People who say "trust your instincts" and then their instincts are that if they ever get uncomfortable, its because the other person is evil, so they think anyone thats ugly or socially incompetent is evil, and then they treat them accordingly. Believing that their instincts are pure, they go through life like little children, never once analyzing their own perceptions.
THAT is one of my major pet peeves.
