Favorite - Singapore Air; good service, good comfort for the long hauls.

Worst - United, since their merger with Continental. I had liked United as a business traveler, even having to sit in their coach. Things have gotten far worse. Comfort is horrid and I feel for the agents who are still trying their best with a company that seems to want to feed their CEO rather than their employees.

Let's face it - Air travel has become the dog buses of the skies (and I rode a lot of Greyhound buses in my time). Damn, its not travel anymore, it is just cartage, with government interference thrown in.

Ive had good luck with Delta of late but I miss Midwest Airlines! There were so many flights that were non-stop to the places I fly to but whey they were bought out most of those disappeared, Worst and best experiences I ever had-- 1-years ago my son suddenly died--I was on a trip from TX to FL and had to get to CT right away. called AA to get a bereavement flight (it was Thanksgiving day) and some snotty young lady very rudely told me there is no such thing (wronge!)and if I wanted to get there it would cost me $800 or more! Never even acknowledged what I had said to her about the death of my child. I work in customer service and was appalled at her behavior! I called United Airlines and they bent over backwards to help me and all the way through the process of booking the flight and flying there and the layover, they were so very kind to me! They had actually passed the word on to each other. Have flown them several times since and never had any issues, BTW, AA response to a letter I sent them complaining? too bad, so sad, have a good day basically. Canned letter!

United Airlines is very unprofessional, the flight attendants gripe about their jobs within earshot of the customers who are waiting to board. Air France is a bunch of bumbling idiots, delayed flights, won't communicate with the passengers for the reason why (there was almost a riot in Casablanca airport because of this, it would never happen like that in the U.S.), missed a connecting flight because of them, they lost my luggage(got it back a week later)....the only highlight of the flight was that the food was really good. I always like to fly on British Airways, decent meals and felt comfortable and safe on board. My luggage got lost once, one bag got to me within a week, the other one took a couple of months (it was Heathrow's new terminal that messed up)....British Airlines refunded every penny I asked for on expenses and my lost suitcase and contents that I had listed in a detailed letter...very impressive because most airlines in the U.S. won't do that.

    Favorite: Alaska.
Least Favorite: ComAir. Worst flight I've ever been on. The plane was extremely small and noisy. At least it was short!

    Southwest
Seats are roomy, lots of leg room, also no assigned seating... choose where you want to sit (except for the cockpit)
