    Benjamin Bunny b/c he's so naughty! They are adorable books aren't they? Beatrix Potter was a brilliant watercolorist.

    Mrs Twoddleflot goes to Piptippleton. Actually and bizarrely, cosidering i was very well supplied with books as a child, i cant recall ever reading any that left an impression if indeed i read any atall. later on i discovered her artwork which i think is the most beautiful ever used in childrens literature. I recall Enid Blytons books fondly and Dr Seuss, (which was unsually for a northernbritish working-class to have in the late 60s early 70s) and a lot of books on short stories called things like, 'bedtime tales, and 'stories for nighttime',. lol

    Ive got a few but i keep giving them away to my great nieces and nephews and mates little ones so theres not many left. Although i cant part with a particularly beautiful copy of 'Wind in the Willows'.
