I had no childhood. I was only 3 years old when the WW2
broke out. I had no toys, no schooling, hence no reading
of books. I only started my schooling at the age of 11. The first
book that is always living in my life is the
Vietnamese translation of "Baha'u'llah and the New Era" of
Dr. J.E. Esslemont, I read in 1959, at the age of 23. If I died
young I may not have the chance to thankfully appreciate
the blessings of my junior years.
Now, as an elder, I try still to read a lot to remove the
darkness of ignorance in my mind. And again I am
thankful to God for providing me with the computer
that really satisfies my thirst for books.
I pray that no children on earth will be deprived of books
as I was in my childhood.Like (2)
