because the mood suits the tale brilliantly, and the story is told unsentimentally, from an unusual viewpoint.
Also "A Night To Remember". The most accurate, and compelling story of the Titanic maiden voyage. ba<x>sed on the book by the same name - and that saves me from having to answer your other question.
TITANIC. Need i say more?
Titanic is amazing! It has a perfect balance between romance and action! It's a great storyline and very touching and inspirational. I could watch it 1000 times and never get bored. ♥
"The Lord of the Ring". Its a very extra-ordinary shoot, the film makes me brave whenever watch it more expecially when i though of the journey in caves, fight with sword, its really interesting :-D.
Excalibur. Its an excellent retelling of the King Arthur story. And how often do you get to see Nicol Williamson, Helen Mirren, Patrick Stewart and Liam Neeson in the same scene?
Depends on my mood. Sometimes, a lightweight "chick flick" works, sometimes an involved plot. And sometimes, I fall asleep during the middle of it - those are the best of all! I love a good nap. LOL.
3 idiots, its an indian movie in 2009 and was the best selling movie in the history of baliwood...
Boy oh boy you sure are rockin tonight with your questions. haha
Choppers a personal favourite always has been. Any good Aussie film is always a favourite. Two hands was good too.

because i lived in tokyo for a long time, and i miss it dearly. because i love scarlett johanssen and bill murray. because it was romantic and bittersweet. because of the fascinating dialogue and story. and because of the scene of bill murray singing 'what's so funny 'bout peace love and understanding' at the karaoke club- priceless.
