I've heard a version of the first one "When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on."
"I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders."
" There's something sharp in me that puts an edge on all the soft words I once owned. "
i just remember things come in three classes
1 things you can do something about
2 things you cant do anything about
3 things you can do something about but are not worth the effort
then i pick what category it belongs in and keep living
Kick *** and take no prisoners..
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.
Just remember that for every hard time, there will always be a good time.
"Why does God hate me so much?"
life is temporary
"Everything you do, will one day be forgotten, so forget about it now"
The only one that applies to me is the one I made up myself. When life hands me **** (which it does on a daily basis) and knocks me down, I pick myself back up and ask, "Is that all you've got?" Everything else just sounds like self-help bullshit to me.
