    I looked it up:
Sarcoidosis is a disease in which inflammation occurs in the lymph nodes, lungs, liver, eyes, skin, or other tissues.

A friend of mine has it and she told me that it is an autoimmunce (inflammation) disease that has affected her kidneys.

I was diagnosed with it in 1993. Sadly, it's still pretty much a mystery as to all of it's symptoms/conditions, because they seem to vary with the individual.

Mine is mostly neurological. It creates tumors/lesions in my spinal cord and on my brain. When this happens, I lose feeling in areas of my body, dexterity in my hands, and my skin is overly sensitive. The last time, I lost feeling from the ribs down on the left side of my body. Doctors gave me six months to walk, due to five tumors in my thoracic spine. Their prognosis never happened. After three years of weekly MRI's and never ending spinal taps, the tumors 'dissipated' (their word, not mine). The disease went into remission.

Now, it's back again. It's effecting my left side, much the way it did the last time. This time, I refuse to be a guinea pig. No MRI's. No spinal taps. No steroids. I'm just going to deal with it on a 'day to day' basis and cope.

The last time (or the first time I heard that I have this disease), I was scared, because I didn't understand and it was so new to me. This time, I'm not scared and even find myself joking about how effects me. I can do this, because I know others suffer worse symptoms than me. I count myself lucky in comparison.

If you have any questions, you're more than welcome to contact me. I'll answer what I can or give you links that can help answer your questions.

It's simply the truth, I have no knowledge of this, & I didn't "google" it, per your own request.
