    Old men with no fashion sense, who wear it for practicality and comfort. If they wear socks with their sandals, it's probably to soak up the sweat so they don't get blisters on their feet.

    It's a funny look to me...I've seen young guys wear this two. Just saw it not too long ago too. Those Adidas flip flops and yes...big thick WHITE socks.

    Maybe they picked it up from their old man, or something. Well, I always saw it as an 'old man's trend' but of course other's will wear it like that too. Some women do too, I might add.

    This my friend is the anomaly...it's like when a woman wears pumps that have an open toe and you see her panty hose seam at the toes...just...no....

    The husband has a pair of socks that have toes in them, sort of like gloves. They are green and purple and he has worn them with sandals. It is not a good look.
