    Opposed.
Most of them are socially discriminatory, people go there to be among rich people while claiming they are the nicest holiest people on earth.
They are teaching c*r*a*p to kids, using psychologically abusive methods, it's all based on emotional blackmail.

Against. They often neglect to teach import parts of the standard syllabus to fit into the modern world. Also they have a tendency to teach hardline intolerant religious views. If people want there kids to be taught religion they should do it outside of schools.

I think their is some religious indoctrination that happens but most of these schools end up doing a better job preparing students for college. There education tends to be better. They were always the ones that got A's in college.

While there are both pros and cons to enrolling children in schools professing a certain faith, it limits and distorts an all encompassing world view which is *necessary* to develop and be able to survive in this world~ regardless of chosen beliefs.

You can't preach education and you can't teach religion.
