Being awarded a college scholarship

Best Answer

I can relate to that. My proudest achievement was also academic.

Best Answer

Is that right? What was yours?

Best Answer

Educational journey overall: completely funded with scholarships since school, and then getting accepted into one of the best phd programs in my field. But it all went downhill from there. Not doing so well now.

Best Answer

I'm sorry to hear that. It definitely put me through the wringer when I lost my scholarship and had to drop out

Best Answer

:( I'm sorry. I can definitely relate. So much of my identity was centered around academic success, and when I lost it, something died inside. Might sound silly to some, but that's how I felt. What are you up to now?

Best Answer

I'm doing pretty decent all things considered... been meaning to go back to school for a long time, but still in the wilderness one might say. I haven't been to school since I was 20
