Mysticism, Lore and Legend; cheese, cider and beautiful countryside.
I live close to Glastobury (as in the music festival), with its legends of King Arthur and close to Stonehenge a little further east. To the west lies Cornwall with its rugged coastline, tin mines and further legends. To the south, the Jurassic Coast, to the north, the Cotswolds.
I also live close to Cheddar (where the cheese originates) and is still stored in the caves there at the Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. This area has lots of cider orchards producing strong scrumpy cider and pear cider ('Perry'). This is also clotted cream country so strawberry topped clotted cream tea gardens abound.
There's always somewhere great to visit, something nice to eat and something good to drink.
