I am working on a research paper at the University of Tennessee. I need stories about employee behavior and shopper reactions during closing time (i.e., what happens in that last half hour before the store locks the doors?). Does anyone have any stories about those issues and how they have been successfully or unsuccessfully addressed? Please let me know if you are a shopper, employee, or manager in the story. Thanks
A friend of mine told a shopper at closing time they should leave three times. She was fired! Apparently once was enough.
Things always went smoothly. Nothing very remarkable.
