What kind of music do you listen to? what makes you like it?

anything rock. the grinding guitars hit me at my core.

Rock, heavy metal, thrash metal, death metal (Children Of Bodom, Fear Factory, Linkin Park, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Evanescence, Rammstein etc etc). I like classical too lol

Classical music to help me relax while I work or heavy classical music when I want to rev up.
Bagpipes when I want to feel my blood stirred.
Rock/folk/pop music of my era when I want to reminisce.
Swing and show music when I want to remember how I used to be able to sing.
Jazz and blues when I feel that way - not a recommended practice!
Inspirational (not religious) music when I want to up my positive side.
I'm not keen on country. That said, I do like a few oldies and some of the newer songs, but not many - no twangin' for me, please!
Even heavy metal if the song is not completely unintelligible.
Oh! Weird Al Yankovic on Youtube when I need a good laugh!

I like rap because the beats are cool. And I like to rap...

I like rock because theyre lyrics, theyre more meaningful most of the time.

I'll listen to anything that resonates with my soul: Classical, Middle-Eastern, Rock, or just listening (& dancing) to a bunch of Doumbek drums being played.

New Age. Favorite: Lesiem. I like it because of the way it makes me feel.

Creedence Clearwater Revival. Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Metal, especially thrash. I don't know why I like it, I just like it.

i need some help from you spread love

hard rock and metal, groups like iron maiden, kiss, metallica, ac/dc, disturbed, rob zombie...great for working out to, driving, actually anytime :P

I listen to whatever genre fits my mood at the time. Metal when i'm angry or just hyper, Sappy love songs when i'm in an 'aw shucks' mood. Classical for relaxation. Meatloaf when i want to be 'wowed' by an amazing voice and great lyrics. I think you get the idea.

That's what i love about music, it's as varied as I am.

I always listen to 80's rock songs when i'm driving because I find they are good 'driving' songs, and they remind me of when I was a kid and we always listened to them on long car journeys and family holidays.
