What led you to Experience Project?

I stumbled on a few years ago because I had a condition with my hearing and needed to have surgery so I was searching for others with the experience. This is how I found Experience Project and I really like it although I haven't been on it in awhile because I am looking for employment.

I'm going through a rough time right now. Following dreams (listening to that still small voice/intuition) and coming up against some pretty big challenges. On a day when it seemed EVERYTHING was going wrong and I was getting nothing but bad news, I typed in the search bar "Does anyone believe in miracles anymore?" and EP came up. I took a look at it and thought it cool that someone came up with something like this, so I joined. I'm new here but I'm enjoying it.

I didn't feel like I could ask any of my friends about our family problems and decided to go on line and google it. I came up with this site.

A need to not feel alone and stupidly enough - the hope of finding a few goo kindred souls to talk to and meet face to face if not on the phone.

I was going through the list of social networking websites listed at Wikipedia. I wasn't aware that the focus of EP was on "healing & support" at the time I visited. Ive been spending more time at EP than I intended to.....so I guess that Facebook account will just have to wait.

I couldn't sleep and decided to do some surfing one night and ended up here. Before the night was over I found myself reading tons of experiences and joined immediately cause I wanted to respond to a few experiences. Now when I am out of reading material or just feeling lonely I come here to read and join the community spirit and my spirits always come back to me the way I should always feel...CONNECTED.
Peace-out

I actually was on the net looking for some type of support group since my boyfriend will soon be going to Afganistan, and I know I am going to be needing someone to talk to. It seemed like a great place with great people.

I kept waking up and going back to sleep, continuing the same basic dream I've been remembering for weeks. Finally got out of bed at 4 a.m., fired up the laptop, Googled the dream scenario and found myself here.

I used Scroogle scraper and typed in PTSD groups.
The explanation in the Scroogle for this web site seemed to be the best one that I could find at the time.
