What makes virginity broken? ( besides making ****)?

You're still a virgin if you haven't had sex, period. The hymen is a medieval, outdated way to determine virginity, and I honestly don't see why anyone would want to have it repaired. It will make your first time less painful if you don't have an intact hymen. So don't worry, and don't feel ashamed about it.

Virginity is more than just physically breaking the hymen. It also involves the mental, spiritual, and emotional as well. I think that losing your virginity is when you willingly give yourself to and share yourself with someone you love and care for. I dont believe a rapist can take your virginity because even though he is violating you in every possible way, you have given him nothing. I also think that even when a girl (or boy) has sex at an early age before they are really ready, their virginity can remain intact. This may not make alot of sense to some people, but there is truth to what they say...."when its right, you'll know it". Its more than just the giving, its the SHARING. Its about the experience of it, and it should leave you feeling fulfilled and your connection/love stronger. Having a broken hymen is nothing (and nothing to be ashamed of. When your sexual self emerges and that world of pleasure opens for you.....you will know it.

A girl can have her hymen broken by lots of different activities besides sex, such as riding a bike or a horse. There is no reason to feel shame, and no reason to want to 'heal' it.

I broke mine doing karate years before I first had sex. You shouldn't feel ashamed. If you haven't had sex, you're still a virgin regardless of the condition of your hymen.

there are many ways to break a hymen especially if you are involved in sports. viriginity is when you haven't had any intimate relations which does inlcude manual, oral, vaginal, anal sex. some people want to be technical with it there is no such thing as a technical virgin just like no one is ever a little pregnant. you either are or you aren't.

mine didnt break after i had sex.. i had even gone to my gyno and she said it was still there that it must have just streched mind you i had only had sex once at the time ..my hymen finally broke like 3 years later ... it was so strange and freaked me and the boy that i was dating at the time.... we were messing around in his room and we hadnt had sex yet but we were doing other things i will let you use your imagination...
well i felt a pain and was so embarassed by the blood i wasnt on my period and i wasnt getting scratched... my hymen didnt break the one time i did have sex before and the new boyfriend thought that i was a virgin because my hymen broke while messing around with him.. im not a liar so i just told him that he wasnt the first but that i never had pain or blood with my first boyfriend that i only had sex with once... the new guy totally didnt believe me and was like oh im your first blah blah and i kept telling him no your not...
its sad that a hand broke my hymen and not my first boyfriend ... he sucked in bed anyway ...
but being a virgin is so much more than your hymen.... no need to feel ashamed just do you and dont worry about anyone else

Virginity is the state of not having had sexual intercourse. So, if you haven't done that, you are a virgin. Our hymens can be broken by many things, and some of us aren't even born with fully intact hymens, so don't sweat this.

Um, any vigourous acitivity can rupture the hymen. Is that what you're talking about? Sure, riding a bike would qualify.

I think you need a penis inside your vagina for it to class as losing your virginity.

I think I lost mine to a tampon....honestly...I didn't bleed the first time....Tampax was my first!! LOL!! :-O

All is said above but if you have not had sexual intercourse it still can be technically proven by doctors.
