Cats and dogs who do not understand the world they live in, making it one of constant puzzlement. Like my cat who is terrified of the printer but determined to kill it, or my little Sheltie who runs out into the yard every morning with flurries of warning barks - into a yard with a 6 foot privacy fence where nothing could 'get' him.
Or when my cat is hungry, she sits up on her hind legs and lifts her front paws in supplication "Oh, please, oh oh oh I'm soooooo hungry would you scratch my ears I wanna sit on your lap was that a bug the dog is being mean to me and I just hate him did you know he was sleeping on my bed and ......."

Only at the worst, most demented things that I won't go into...well, the most decent one has to be laughing at other people for some reason that nobody will ever know--really, I'm sure I never actually laughed at a joke told on purpose(other then my own). :D
