Depends on what you are looking for. Some suggestions (best google them first, as I don't know what kind of films you like):

Teen Films for fun and little bit of romance:
    - Easy A (2010) (this one is really funny! I really don't know why not many people know it)
    - Daydream Nation (2010) (also not very well known, but quite a good teen film, fun, but also a bit on the serious side)
    - Få meg på, for faen (turn me on dammit. Swedish teen film, incredibly realistic, but also fun, typical Swedish Film, so it depends wether you like that kind of Swedish humor)
    - Pitch Perfect (2012 not the best, but light fun)
    - Bend it like Beckham (2002)

(Teen) films that are a little bit more serious:
    - The perks of being a wallflower (2012) nothing light hearted, deals with several problems below the surface,
    - Real Women have Curves (2002)
    - An Education
    - Girlfight (2000) Great film about a girl learning to box
    - Whip it (2009) Girl joining a roller derby
    - Remember the Titans (2000)

Then just a very random selection of Films that just pop into my head, for all ages, well over 13 certainly :)
    - Chocolat (2000) if you like chocolate, simply a very beautiful film
    - Death at a funeral (Incredibly funny, much better in the British version than the american one)
    - Amelie (2001) French film. One of the most beautiful films ever made
    - Mona Lisa Smile (a 'woman' film)
    - Oceans eleven, twelve, thirteen(2001-2007) fun and action
    - Pirates of the Caribbean (first few at least are fun)
    - Moulin Rouge (just very colorfoul Musical, quite fun if you like stuff like that)
    - Pleasantville (1998): Black and white film.
    - Titanic (1997), classic, romance

I like most of the movies in that response too. Aimeebee I am surprised a little bit that you weren't a big fan of The Perks of Being a Wallflower movie adaptation. I grew up in the era of Charlie and his friends, and read the book Perks when it came out in 1999 and many times since. While the book's always better I ABSOLUTELY was floored by how amazingly perfect the movie was done! Loved it tons.

Hook, not sure if the age is right... but this is my all time favourite movie.

good comedy and tear jerker bits.

    anything by disney really .

kids movies are woefully under rated

There were some great ones in SilenceEvermore's response but I seriously think Winter's Bone is one of my top 3 WORST movies I have seen in my life. Terrible acting and just awful...I was not offended by anything in it, but it was just the worst movie in my humble opinion.
