What positive traits did you inherit/learn from your parents?

Although, I had a horrendous truama/drama childhood. I got a lot of good stuff from my parents. I'm like my dad in his extrovertism and friendliness to all people, his playfulness, his joking around, his love of fun and of the beauty of nature, his childlike wonder and excitement.

From my mom I got the love of education, intellectual pursuits, questioning things, green thumb, love of friendship, creativity, artistic talents, mechanical abilities,
easy laughter, joy in simple things, presistence and determination, always looking for a solution and more

from both I learned to value truth and honesty, to be a good person and a caring person plus other values.

For these gifts I am grateful.

crosseyedlemon	Posted Aug 10th, 2009 at 11:52AM Most of my strong organizational skills came from my dad who worked for years as a draftsman and was obviously very detail oriented. My mother was probably the most tolerant person ever (she put up with 6 of us kids) and I like to think some of that rubbed off on me. Rated: +1Vote for this!
