I heard this quote when I was younger and it really helped me: "If you only realized how infrequently people took the time to judge you, you wouldn't care about what others thought." People are focusing on their own stuff, not you, so be yourself. Are you kind and helpful to others and yourself? Do you do your best to love others and treat them respectfully? If this is true, you are a good person worthy of love. This is all you can do. So enjoy yourself and know that in the future, you'll always do your best. That's it.

    Being too shy
The way I am so sensitive
The fact that I worry so much over things.

Again, read or Google The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. My outlook on life has changed for the better and it doesn't take much. It's easy peasy!

There is nothing wrong with not getting your way all the time. No one does, but if you think it always has to go your way and you hold on to that, you must realize not one person on earth knows everything, and a know-it-all is not a comfortable person to be with. What do you think will happen if you don't get your way? It's part of being a human being and relating well with others. No one will think less of you for not standing your ground all the time. Getting along with others is a big part of finding happiness in your life. And it involves give and take.

Laughing, my being stubborn rarely has anything to do with getting my own way with people, it relates to something else entirely.

I see all the problems, I seem to be unable to just focus on the good things so I get discouraged a lot. I need more fortitude.

A book for you: The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle. You can Google his videos. "When you are depressed, you are living in the past. When you are anxious you are living in the future. All we have is right now." Stop fretting about the past; it's gone. The future is always right now. In two minutes it is still right now. Understand?

"When you are depressed you are living in the past". I do not believe that statement. All of the things I'm depressed and anxious about are going on right now today and they are directly affecting me. If depression is past and anxious is future then a mixture of the two must equal the present.

I love sweets, and they are nothing but a bunch of gangsters, killing softly inside and out.
