What religions forbid donating human organs?

I don't understand why any religion wouldn't allow you to help extend someone else's life

The Jehovah's witnesses won't even let you donate blood nor recieve any blood donations. But they will use other methods of saline or plasma expanders if someone is in need. Blood is believed to be the life of a person and was not to be consumed that is why they believed that it was wrong to inject it as well interveniously. It was like having your doctor say no alcohol and then injecting it directly into your blood stream.

What Pope John Paul II said on behalf of the One, Holy, Roman, Catholic, and Apostolic Church:

"[T]he Gospel of life is to be celebrated above all in daily living, which should be filled with self-giving love for others. . . . Over and above such outstanding moments, there is an everyday heroism, made up of gestures of sharing, big or small, which build up an authentic culture of life. A particularly praiseworthy example of such gestures is the donation of organs, performed in an ethically acceptable manner, with a view to offering a chance of health and even of life itself to the sick who sometimes have no other hope."

The way I read my religious texts, it is a good deed to donate organs and tissue.
Colorado's Donor Alliance has a great page on religious groups and ethnic need.
