I was always told to put vitamin E on my scars. You buy the capsuls, and there is a liquid inside them. You puncture the capsul and rub the oil into the scars. Good luck.

dotan	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM I have used Vitamin E for more than 2 years. It makes my skin be better. But Vitamin C is a good treatment for scars. I use 4 vitamin C , 1 vitamin B and 1 vitamin C for rubbing at night. As I know, we can cure scars by cosmetic surgeon. Peterthomasroth has just introduce a product for healing the scars too. Generika	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM all natural shea butter infused with Vitamin E worked for my surgical scars..... the key to smoothing out and diminishing the scar is massaging it, not so much what you put on it. When done daily for about 10 minutes, it will help to diminish the formation of scar tissue. My plastic surgeon recommended not to do this until about 2 weeks after surgery or until bleeding (albeit small) stopped and the wound began to mesh (the time will vary with the size of the scar)......
