What should I do? I told people about my age by the year, but they told me their age by their birthday. (I didn't know)

I'll be 20 this year, but it's not my birthday yet but since I follow the year...I told people that I am 20 years old.

I met other people and realized that their age that they told me, they followed by their birthday instead.

This means that I should have told them that I am 19...not 20. I feel so guilty because I told several people who became my friends.
After I found out about this, I changed the settings so that my birth year is not shown on my facebook profile. Otherwise, they might think that I lied to them. :(
