english is so vague and goofy tho, really not a good language as there are soo many words that are similar and what not...

All of the above are good... Reading comes first, Listening (for example, radio news etc) and then trying to converse even if faltering... <br />
More importantly, I have found one quality that clinches the deal..<br />
Regularity of effort.. Everyday you have to be at it...<br />
Persistence... Dont evaluate too often, look back after 6 months or 9 months, believe men, if you have been regular and sincere, you will be surprised at the obvious incremental success<br />
Plan to work on it for years, not just months...<br />
