Sit back in the chair for a good 30 minutes. I have coffee after I eat, but that comes after eating. So it's a coffee, maybe a biscuit and (usually) a conversation and that takes me to (around) 30 minutes. After that I'm ready to get up, I feel that what I have eaten is settled onto my stomach and not half-way down my throatand I'm in no rush to do anything for a bit after this.<br />

Eating shouldn't be rushed; it's hard on the digestive system and besides ... eating should be a social activity when we eat with others.<br />
