    My favorite place is tennessee, specifically chattanoga area. Good aquariums and museums, the 7more states view, but the best is ruby falls the largest under ground waterfall was awsome with it's cave system. Also eastern tennessee has a great lake in a cave.

    The rocky mountain states are beautiful and there are deserts there as well. Minnesota is beautiful but visit in the summer time, New England is great too, as is the pacific northwest. The Carolina's and Georgia are also very lush. Pretty much anywhere but the deep south, west Texas, and southern California are good places to visit

    How about Hot Springs National Park, it is in Arkansas in the middle of the country. Bordered by the Mississippi on the east, Ok. and Texas on the west.
    Hot Springs has hot mineral springs, lakes, mountains, even has horse racing in late Feb. till April I think. Has a lot of history.
