Beats me. Why someone would pay a stranger to be conned out of their money is one of the great mysteries to me. Along with the "Psychic Readers" with the neon signs in the window of their little parlors along a main road in nearly any town with more than a few thousand souls, these charlatans operate with, apparently, the full consent of local business laws because they advertise their services "For Entertainment Purposes Only", thereby skirting laws regarding fraud. In the end, it comes down to the fact that a lot of people believe what they want---not what is true.
EP is psychically thinking we all need psychic help.
