Gargle four times a day with hot salt water. Very salty like the ocean. As warm as you can stand it. Stuffy nose--hot salt water in a pan with a towel over your head and inhale. Salt is a gift.

buy some 100% natural honey and either have it in hot water or buy a lemon and have honey and lemon hot drink or just have a teaspoon of the honey, it will sooth it.

    Here is a home remedy:
In a glass of hot water: mix 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, and crush up 1 aspirin. Mix it well, but it wont all dissolve. Get the water as hot as you can stand. Gargle 3 times and do it every hour. Just heat the mixture in the microwave each time.

Honored to make your acquaintance. There's lots to be said about bees ... I happened on the tea and honey approach in college (upstate New York), found it helped me keep hydrated, get my mucous membranes coated, and generally restore enough goodness to life that I could get some sleep.
