i got migraine in school and that vanished by the time i was in a university...although the stresses n strains just piled up over the years..; o.k....for the patient>> take (fresh)grape juice..it has the form of sugar that human body readily requires.Drink good amount of water at regular intervals. keep feet in hot water but avoid heat going to the head..keep an ice pack or towel soaked in cold water on the head to avoid hot headedness(!)..ring a towel in hot water and keep it at the back of the neck. ...dark rooms are what one wants at the time of pains...but keep walking and try being in a normally lit space. check on blod circulation problems and/or walking habits.Walking releases endorphine....good for brain's blood circulation.
nevertheless,i was under medical supervision during the disease years.I hear neurologists these days ask people to avoid taking painkillers.
