So for those of you who answered my question last night, I can report again that things weren`t at all awkward today. We hung around the flat and she made some great lunch to share. Since I`m still without a car, she drove me to a local organic place and Costco, where we shopped and talked for almost three hours. She`s rehearsing with her band right now and I`ve got plans for dinner. I`m making my amazing rib eye steaks with sea salt, pepper, and clarified butter along with long green beans and baked potatoes. I figure I`ll need a bottle of wine to go along with it and was thinking of picking up a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon as per Google`s recommendations. Any other thoughts for the evening?
I'd vote Pinot Noir or Zinfandel (red, not the pink stuff)
...served room temp.
A nice chianti, goes perfectly with steak I've found.
Syrah or Shiraz.
With appetizers I like a Riesling.
