You only need vitamins if you're suffering from avitaminosis.<br />

It's actually dangerous for people to be popping multivitamins without good reason, unless your goal is to get cancer. But plenty of people do actually need certain supplements, and sometimes they can't meet their nutritional requirements through their diet.
