I would never own a gun. They're dangerous and honestly, useless in defending yourself unless you carry it all the time. What if I keep a gun in my bedroom and someone breaks in and attacks me in my kitchen? There's no point.

I have an old Plymouth 12 gauge double-barrel that belonged by my grandfather (Dad's side). I'm giving it to my son, and if he wants, he can give it to his son. Damn things kicks like hell. It's not worth much, but it is a family thing.

My stepfather got me a .410 shotgun for Christmas when I was about 10-12, later sold it (we never had time for hunting and I wasn't into it anyway).

I will eventually inherit a .25 Mauser pistol from my dad, a family heirloom. He'd give it to me now if I wanted it, but I have no use for it, and my landlord prohibits guns as it is.

Cooey 22, bolt action was the first. Then my Continental 201, 12 gauge side by side with a fixed full choke when I was 15...eventually I inherited my fathers Fox 12 gauge side by side and his Remington bolt action autofeed 22.
