What was your 18th birthday like?

At 18 my life was a whirlwind of activity. On my birthday that year I had just graduated from High School the week before, I was worried about beng drafted into the vietnam war, I recieved 3 extremely good job offers in the same week, I had a car, dozens of friends, and girls ringing my parents phone off the hook to do things with me.

Life was wonderful.

Started off not too great - my hubby -my then boyfriend told me he'd sold his car - I was grumbling about not being able to go any where - later on he asked me to marry him and had sold the car to buy the ring.

Had a casino style party in the evening with parents and card games etc, shots of tequila - drank loads but didn't have a hangover the next morning.

Happy 18th

Most people I know had parties or whatnot. My mom actually put balloons in my room which was fun to wake up to. Then I enjoyed a fun and quiet day at home until my best friend (who lives far away) came online. I had a very sweet conversation with him and he made two songs for me, which made me very happy. Then my family gathered and gave me presents. We had champagne and a defective confetti tube which was very fun anyway. We joked around and ate and I had a teddy bear shaped cake. It may sound lame but I was very happy. Oh, 7 afterward, my mom's dad took me out and insisted to buy me a ring - I found one I fell in love with at first sight and it's my favorite ring to this day. So... I spent quality time with and got beautiful, meaningful gifts from the people closest to me. t was awesome.

Just another birthday...same as my 15th, 16th, and 17th.

My 18th birthday I was big and pregnant! I wandered around HUGE as a house, ate a big birthday cake and got a 4'2" teddy bear. That's about it.... Oh and I went and dropped $20. into a vlt... not much of a gambler but it was the only thing I could legally do then that wouldn't hurt my baby (now a wonderful 11 yr old boy!). Hope yours is way more fun than mine was!

Mine was sh*t! I decided I want to have a party and two people came. We sat around bored. My bf at the time bought me a chocolate bar and that was about it. One of my worst birthdays ever.

That was half my life ago... I do not remember.

I don't remember. Must not have been very exciting!

I was working. I hadn't told any of the boys that it was my birthday, then one just randomly asked when I'd be able to drink legally, so I kinda had to tell them. One went out and bought me champagne and loads of kiddie stuff (colouring book, lego etc), and then they took me to the pub. Bless their cotton socks.

well if you ask again in a year i can tell you =D

but i dont think im going to do anything well other then babysit my sisters new born but who knows anything can happen

i didn't really do much... i skipped school, went to the mall, went to a friends house, then went to my crush's house and had the chance to hook up with him but i didn't b/c he had a girlfriend and i didn't wanna be "the other woman" even though i was completely in love with that jackass at the time and if he didn't have a girlfriend i woulda ****** the hell out of him

I was being evacuated from a war...through 3 different countries, 1 boat, and...on my birthday I was depressed, withered down to nothingness infront of news cameras... and people asking me "how I felt" wtf. But hey it's memorable :)

Very anticlimactic.
