What was your first job ever? What did you do there and how old were you?
I did babysitting a handful of times at age 10-15 but then my first "real" job was telemarketing. I was 16 and only stayed a few weeks because it was way too much of a job for a high school kid (like 30 hrs a week and intense).
Then I worked as a cashier at a drugstore for the rest of high school and it was a good "first job"!

i pushed trolleys from the supermarket to peoples cars for tips. All the kids used to wake up early and go stand in a line to hopefully make it before they had enough. After that i used to pack shelves in the supermarket

I was eight and found a job working at the american legion ballpark at the end of our block for a quarter a game. I worked the scoreboard, ******* foul balls and home runs, collected pop bottles in the bleachers and worked the consession stand. Anything they needed actually

My Dad's company. Trump Construction. I taught me to float cement when I was 4. He put me in charge of cement jobs when I was 10 all the way through high school. Not many rough around the edges contractors wanted to listen to a little girl....but they had to and the cement jobs were flawless. :)

I've done tons of babysitting and house-cleaning, but the first job where I had an actual pay stub was at a factory that assembled washing machine timers. My job was on an assembly line, and every day I did something different on the line. I was 18.

I umpired little league baseball games beginning at 14 yrs old. It was the 8 - 10 yr olds then. When I turned 16 I began to ump the 10 - 12 yr olds.
ses and $15 to work home plate. We switched after each game. We always worked at least two games and sometimes more, especially on Saturday's.
seball myself all the time too (that's how I got the job because adults in the league knew I played well and knew the game etc...).
I'm 45 now so this won't seem like much, but they paid us cash. We worked in teams of two (only two umps for each game). We got paid $10 to work the ba
The games had a 1 hr max time limit and they also had a 10 run rule that was in effect. Due to this, some of the games ended in 30 to 35 min's and I would make $15 bucks for the half hour of work when I was behind the plate.
It was a great way to make quick money at a young age and I loved and played ba
