Resolved Question

A few days ago, my mother made some snarky comment about me not taking a vehicle they offered me (As I've told them, I appreciate their generosity, but I don't want it, and don't want them paying payments on a vehicle for me.), saying that I must think that everything of theirs is "tainted", and going on about how I think that she and my stepfather are "bad people", and other untrue bullshit of that sort. I simply told her that it wasn't true, and to forget it, that I'm not going to talk about that. Within about couple of minutes (I seriously lucked out on that one, usually it takes a half-hour or more.), she dropped it and we finished talking about what she was talking about before, and then ended the conversation.
