For smoking a joint! Yeah don’t worry about rapists, murderers, and any serious criminal. Take in the guy for a misdemeanor for smoking a little pot. In my city there are about a half dozen homicides every 24 hours and who knows how many other violent crimes. The city is overrun by gangs but no lets worry about a joint.

To counts assault and battery. One when I found my step father beating the crap out of my little brother and threw him down the stairs & one when I broke two of his ribs and thumb when I was eight months pregnant and he shoved me down on to the bikes and tried kicking & punching me. I was a minor and couldn't press charges w/o an adult family member. Gotta love our system.

Cop rolled up on me as I was writing on a Stop sign "Ron + Liz." Took me to the city jail, then off to Juvenille hall when my parents could not be reached. No biggie really, only a 6 hour ordeal.

My then boyfriend and I were stationed in Texas, and decided to go out one night to watch the stars with his new telescope. We didn't realize we had settled down on a patch of Blue Bonnets, the Texas state flower, and both of us spent three days in jail waiting for the magistrate to come back from a long weekend. :(

When they say "Don't Mess With Texas", THEY MEAN IT.

I'm really not proud of this but:

trespassing, underage drinking, public intoxication and intent to commit criminal mischief all related to an aborting cow tipping incident. Stupid, I know, but I didn't realize that the cows could actually be hurt when you pushed them over - I was 17 and thought they just got up like people.

Anyway....yeah. Not incarceration but a very uncomfortable night in jail waiting for my parents to drive nearly two hours to come and get me.

Getting caught stealing copper from a construction site. Breaking and Entering and Grand Larceny. Sucked. So funny, though, I noticed the cop that arrested me was left handed and a Simpsons fan. That's the stuff you notice when you're getting arrested.

Failure to Appear. I forgot about a speeding ticket, but they didn't! Came to my place early Sunday morning and took me away in cuffs for a traffic ticket!

When got divorced, I got super mad at husband & punched him in the chest. He had me arrested for it to teach me a lesson that I can't just go around hitting people. What a ******* joke. The officer said he was right. I said that if I knew he would have me arrested I would have made it worth my while & broke his dam knee caps. Cop laughed. Had to take anger management course. LOL!!!
