Leave it in the past.
By making your present your life. It is not easy of course, but if you think about it logically, by living in your past, not only are you hurting yourself, you are letting opportunities of happiness pass you by. Find yourself things you like to do, develop friendships, and begin to live. Life goes on and pain is part of it .... learn from it but dont let it bind you a prisoner.
I take care of my future not to have such pain.

Unfortunately I carry with me even now.
nothing...i leave it behind and live my life and enjoy it while i'm still breathing...regretting will not help you and wont either change what you are and who you are..
